Today we moved on to the research portion of our persuasive essay writing. We talked about how to guide our research by developing specific research questions. It will help you cut your research time down if you know what to specifically look for. Next, students used the period to develop their own research questions and conduct research. I encouraged students to have this research completed before the beginning of class tomorrow.

8th Graders: You have many major assignments coming up over the next three weeks. Please look at the long term deadlines below and budget your time accordingly.
