7th Grade -- 2/19

Today we began class by journaling about emotions we experienced over the weekend.  After that we utilized those emotions to help us brainstorm descriptive ways to explain them to a reader using the literary elements we have been exploring.  Finally the students wrote sentences with literary elements about their emotions.

There was also an optional review session held during each lunch period to go over strategies and practice with analogies that the students will see on their Word Masters test on Thursday.

- finish descriptive sentences for class tomorrow

- study for Word Masters test on Thursday
