Today we began class by discussing online submission procedure through schoology.com. Please message me on Schoology this weekend if you have any difficulty making this work. Next, we did a mini lesson about finding titles in our writing rather than having to create them out of thin air. I modeled this strategy using a student example, and then students had a few minutes to practice it with their own work, reading through their writing and circling words or word phrases that would make strong titles. Students shared their new titles, and then they had 20-25 minutes to work on their writing. We ended class by sharing 1-3 sentences from the day's writing.
