7th Grade--10/7

Today we discussed "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson and brainstormed ideas for "normal" places and "normal" people to use as a basis for our suspense/horror fiction. Next, students spent about twenty minutes beginning to draft their horror fiction and we ended class by sharing out sentences from our writing.

-Submit your final draft of your essay to Schoology
-Bring a packet of your rough drafts and editing sheets to class.
