7th Grade--10/24

Today students began class by learning the WM word "ponderous". After this, we discussed using the following sensory based questions to help develop our setting in fiction writing. Students worked to do this with a partner and then worked on their story starts. At the end of class, we each shared a sentence from the day's writing.
