8th Grade--10/9
Today students began class by reviewing their grammar homework in groups. After this brief review, students took the second grammar quiz of the trimester. When students finished the quiz, they had the remainder of the period to begin reading the mentor texts for horror fiction ("The Tell-Tale Heart" and "The Pit and the Pendulum") and to begin answering the reflection questions. The reflection questions can be found here.
