8th Grade--10/1

Today we worked on editing our essays with the following tools:

  • Looking for consistent vocabulary usage from the thesis as a unifying element for the entire paper
  • Looking for consistent vocabulary usage from the topic sentence as a unifying element for each body paragraph
  • Crafting compound, complex, and compound-complex sentences in our essays
  • Using the thesaurus for stronger vocabulary usage
Students worked on editing and should bring a draft with these corrections in it for tomorrow's peer/self editing session.

-Grammar quiz corrections TYPED
