Today we paired up with an opposite gendered partner to consult with questions about whether we were using gender successfully in our written voice. We also did a
practice on apostrophes. Students had time to type their stories. At the end of class, students met in their pairs to exchange stories, read each others' work, and conference about what worked and didn't work in the voice. Students then shared sentences from their partners' work.
