7th Grade--11/12

Today students turned in their TIQA Paragraph Assignments and then learned the WM word "anticipate". Next, they reviewed the stages of the Hero's Journey and discussed the stages through which an author could characterize a hero. Students brainstormed ideas for unlikely heros and the journeys those heros might take. The students began working on Hero's Journey fiction story starts, which they will turn in on Monday. To conclude class, students shared two or three lines of their work.
