Today students began prewriting for their Hero's Journey expository essays. This is the prompt they are writing about:
Does the novel you read demonstrate a hero's journey? How so?
Students used the period to begin outlining their essays. They will write a thesis, topic sentences, and then find supportive quotes before moving on to the drafting stage.
